Decision due on bigger Davigdor Road office plans
Changes to an approved Hove office scheme add a basement, solar panels and a taller roof. The Planning Committee meets on 28 October.
Amended plans for a three-storey office building on Davigdor Road, Hove, at the front of Palmer and Harvey House, are going before the city's Planning Committee. The changes would add a basement level of office space, solar panels and plant on the roof, and raise the roof slightly, by about 0.3 metres, to improve waterproofing and screen the panels.
Neighbours have sent 32 objections, raising concerns about loss of views and light, noise, overdevelopment, privacy and site access. Council officers nonetheless recommend that the committee approve the scheme.
The Planning Committee is due to meet at Hove Town Hall at 1pm on Wednesday 28 October.
